How hiring works at Du Lich Viet, and what we are looking for when a role opens.
There are no vacancies to apply for right now. Rather than list roles that do not exist, this page says what we hire for and how — when a role opens it will be posted here.
How we hire
Small team, few rounds. A conversation about what you have built, one piece of practical work close to something we actually do, and a session with the people you would work beside. We pay for the practical work, and we do not ask for a take-home longer than an afternoon.
We write things down. Most decisions in this product exist as a paragraph explaining why, including the ones that turned out wrong — if that sounds like unnecessary ceremony rather than how good work compounds, we are probably not a fit.
What we look for
Roles will mostly be engineering, product and operator support, based in Vietnam or working within a couple of hours of it.
- Judgement about what not to build, more than speed at building
- Comfort with an unfinished product and with saying so on the page
- For operator-facing roles: Vietnamese and English, and patience on the phone
