The terms that apply, where to find them, and how to cancel.
The operator's terms are the terms
Every experience carries its own cancellation terms, written by the operator who runs it. They are shown on the experience page before you book, again at checkout, and on the booking itself — the wording is theirs, published as given, so what you read is what applies.
Where an experience is marked free cancellation, that is the operator's own offer and its window is stated with it.
Cancelling a request
Open the booking from your account and use Cancel this booking. It takes effect immediately and the booking stays in your list, marked cancelled, so you keep the record.
Cancelling costs nothing. No real money has moved anywhere in this build, so there is nothing to refund and no deposit at risk. When a payment provider is connected, this section will say what a cancellation does to money that has actually been taken, and the operator's own terms will govern the rest.
If the operator cancels
Weather stops boats and closes mountain roads, and an operator will sometimes cancel. They contact you on the details you gave at checkout, which is why a phone number is worth adding even though it is optional.
