Privacy policy

What personal data this product handles, why, and what it does not do with it.

Draft

This document describes how Du Lich Viet works today and is published for transparency while the product is pre-launch. It has not been through legal review and is not a binding agreement. The reviewed version arrives with the company details, before bookings and payments open.

What we collect

Only what the product needs to work. There is no analytics, no advertising pixel and no third-party tracker anywhere in this site — that is not a promise about the future, it is a statement about the code as it stands.

  • Account — your name, email address and password. The password is stored only as a salted hash; nobody at Inbound can read it.
  • Bookings — the contact details you give at checkout, the experience, option, date and party size, and the status of the request.
  • Payments — the way you chose to pay, the amount, the outcome the payment partner reported, and the partner's reference for the transaction.
  • Wishlist — which experiences you saved, and when.
  • Session — one cookie that identifies your signed-in session. See the cookie page.

What we do not collect

No card number, expiry date or security code — they are entered on the payment partner's page and never reach this site. No passport or identity documents. No location tracking. No profile built from your browsing for advertising.

Who sees it

The operator you book with receives what they need to run your booking: your name, your email address, your phone number if you gave one, the date and the size of your party. They need it to meet you and to contact you if the weather changes.

Nothing is sold, and nothing is shared with advertisers.

Where it lives

Bookings and payments are stored by our backend in its database. Contact details and traveller names are stored encrypted, and the email and phone number are shown masked even to you.

Accounts and wishlists are still held in the server's memory in this pre-launch product and are lost whenever the service restarts. This section will state retention periods — including how long a cancelled booking is kept for accounting — in the reviewed version.

Your choices

You can see everything held about you from your account: your details, your bookings, your saved experiences. Self-service deletion is not built yet; until it is, a request through the help centre is handled by hand.
