Who you are dealing with

Du Lich Viet is a marketplace. The experiences listed here are run by independent local operators, and the contract for the activity itself is between you and the operator who runs it. We present their product, take your request, and support you around it.

The registered entity behind the marketplace, its address and its registration numbers are not published yet. They will appear here, and on the about page, before bookings and payments open.

What a booking is

Sending your details does not create a reservation. It files your booking and takes you to the payment step. Nothing is held for you until the payment arrives, and until then you may cancel the booking yourself.

Payment is taken by our payment partner on its own secure page: you choose a way to pay here and complete it there. A booking counts as paid only when the partner confirms the payment to us directly — not because your browser came back from its page.

Card and bank details are entered on the payment partner's page and never reach this site. Once a payment arrives we confirm your place with the operator and email you. If the operator cannot confirm it, we contact you about a refund.

Prices and availability

Prices are quoted in Vietnamese dong and shown per traveller, with the total calculated before you send a request. We publish what operators give us, and an operator may withdraw availability between your request and their answer — that is the case the confirmation step exists for.

The hotels, flights and transport sections are not live inventory. The properties, airlines and operators shown there are invented sample data, marked as such on each page, and nothing in them can be booked or paid for.

Cancellation

Each experience carries the operator's own cancellation terms, published as they were given to us and shown before you book. Cancelling a booking that has not been paid costs nothing, and you can do it from the booking itself. Once it is paid, cancelling goes through us and the operator's terms apply.

Your account

You are responsible for the security of your account and for what is done through it. Keep your password to yourself, and tell us if you believe someone else has it.

Accounts are for booking travel. We may suspend an account being used to abuse operators, to scrape the catalogue, or to attack the service.

What we are and are not responsible for

We are responsible for this marketplace: presenting operator information accurately, handling your request and your data properly, and supporting you when something goes wrong.

We are not the operator. The conduct of the activity, its safety, its schedule and the licences behind it are the operator's responsibility, and where an operator is at fault your claim is against them. Nothing in a draft document like this limits any right you have under Vietnamese consumer law.

Changes and governing law

This document will be replaced by a reviewed version before launch, and the date at the top changes whenever the wording does.

The governing law and the forum for disputes are part of that review and are deliberately not stated here rather than guessed at.
